Social software and traditional 'learning'

Page history last edited by PBworks 4 years, 8 months ago

My questions take as starting point the presentation of yesterday on open learning.

1 ) The speaker talk about "students" of the open learning university.

Can they be considered "students" or rather as "junior workers"?

To support your answer, please consider all the skills these "students" already have (communication, team work, automony) to start to participate in theirs tasks. Are they really students?

2 ) Do you think it is possible to learn about communication, team work, participative tasks only using social software? Or you absolutely need these skills before to start working with social softwares and then you develop them more?
